This policy explains what information kitstarter ("we", "us") collects when you visit kitstarter.dev or buy and install the kit, how we use it, who we share it with, and how we keep it safe.

Information we collect

• Purchase information. When you buy kitstarter, your payment is processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your name, email address, and payment card details. We receive your email address and confirmation that a payment succeeded. We never receive or store your full card number.
• Install verification. When you run the installer and enter the email you purchased with, that email is sent to our server for the sole purpose of checking, through Stripe, that a matching purchase exists. We use it to return a yes or no and do not store it.
• Website usage. Like most websites, our host records standard technical logs such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, in order to operate and secure the site.

How we use it

• To verify purchases and give you access to the kit.
• To deliver your receipt and respond to support or coaching requests.
• To operate, secure, and improve the website.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers needed to run the product:

• Stripe processes payments and stores purchase records. See stripe.com/privacy.
• Vercel hosts the website and processes server logs. See vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

We may also disclose information if required by law. We do not share your information with anyone else.

How disclosure happens

Information is transmitted electronically over secure, encrypted connections (HTTPS) to the service providers above, solely to provide the product to you.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor, and never reach our servers. We keep only the minimum information needed to verify purchases and provide support.

Your choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing the address below. Purchase records held by Stripe may be retained where required for tax and accounting.
